Bananas from Jalgaon are not only consumed domestically but also exported to over 60 countries worldwide , including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Europe. 📊 Recent Export Data According to Volza’s India Export Data (2025) , India exported 67,952 banana shipments to global markets. Jalgaon remains a dominant contributor to this figure, with its bananas being in high demand due to their quality, size, and shelf life. Export packaging standards have also improved, with corrugated fibreboard boxes of 13.5 kg and 18.5 kg being widely used for international shipments.
